Halo XRT6 Laser Rangefinder

Halo XRT6 Laser Rangefinder

The Halo XRT6 is a more advanced model than the XL450, and it comes with a corresponding increase in the price. The extra functionality you get at this price is definitely worth the investment if you need a good primary hunting laser rangefinder though, and the XRT6 is the perfect companion for any solid hunting trip.

The model is primarily made for hunting, although it can also be used for golfing. It can lock on to targets up to 600 yards away, and has a 1-yard precision when switching between different targets. The device is also capable of continuous imaging, and this mode should prove very useful when hunting more active animals and you want to retain maximum control over your environment.

Speaking of the environment, harsh conditions should be no problem for the Halo XRT6 most of the time, as the device is water resistant and comes with an extra sturdy body that can easily endure a lot of abuse. Of course, it’s not completely indestructible, so you should still go lightly on it and take good care of it – especially around the lenses – but the XRT6 is one of the best rangefinders out there when it comes to long-term use.

Its battery use is great as well, and even in continuous scanning mode, you won’t face any issues with how long you can use the rangefinder for. Of course, carrying a spare with you will never be a bad idea, but you’ll probably find that you’ve forgotten about your last battery change by the time the next one rolls around.

Rounding off the good deal is a solid build with durable materials. As we mentioned above, this is one of the stronger points of the Halo XRT6, and the company have obviously put a lot of thought into the shape and overall design of the model, compared to the majority of their competitors at least. All in all, a worthy long-term investment.
